| Day to day operation of our REFUGIO INFANTIL SANTA ESPERANZA depends almost entirely on donations. We receive monthly economic support from a variety of foundations, organizations, social agencies and a small stipend from DIF, the Mexican government organization here in Puerto Vallarta. These donations are important as they provide the support for the children of the Refugio Infantil Santa Esperanza whose operational expenses are now approximately 120,000 pesos or $12,000 USD per month. These donations provide for the feeding, education, health care and all other requirements that give these children a safe and loving environment in which to live. Participate in the R.I.S.E. Charitable Endowment Program: Leaving all or part of your estate to R.I.S.E. can benefit the children for many years and would truly be a gift from heaven. If you wish to leave a percentage of money from your estate to R.I.S.E. , or if you want to leave the entire amount, contact a retirement planning representative at you company or your lawyer to make needed changes to your beneficiary listings. Check with your attorney to see if you need to adjust your will to reflect these changes. Naming R.I.S.E. as a beneficiary on an IRA or retirement plan can have major tax advantages for both parties. It may reduce the taxable amount of your estate, and the charity may not need to pay income tax on it.
